When you purchase the program from Comp Lair, week by week, you will be granted access to the content The progam is composed of chapters broken down into small lessons as pre-recorded videos. The chapters will be dropped every week so you can focus and digest one thing at a time. You can log in to your Comp Lair curriculum whenever you’d like to access the unlocked content or the full content once everything is available to you.

YES! :) You will be able to start whenever you wish to right after you enrol. The weekly group calls and other details will be shared with you as soon as you enrol.

The whole program is designed to be completed in 14 weeks. During that time, one or more chapters will be unlocked automatically each week after you start your enrolment.

Access to the Program is granted upon payment of the Entry Fee. Continued access beyond the Entry Fee requires maintaining a monthly or yearly subscription.

Once initiated, your subscription can be paused or cancelled at your discretion, and if reinstated later, the Entry Fee will not be required again. Subscription renewals will automatically occur based on your chosen frequency (monthly or yearly). However, cessation or interruption of your subscription will result in the loss of access to the platform where the Program lives and all associated benefits.

As long as your subscription remains active, you will enjoy uninterrupted access to the then-current version of the Program’s benefits, including tailored support, content, group calls, recordings and community features.

Your access begins counting from the moment of enrollment. The content will be unlocked automatically every week after the T&Cs have been signed.

However, the pace at which you want to imprint for yourself it’s completely up to you. If you decide to enrol say for example today but only really starting at a later date (on the next day, for example), that’s perfectly fine!

Absolutely! Our program was designed with flexibility in mind, so you can learn at your own pace. We deliver the content every week through a combination of pre-recorded and live formats, allowing you to choose what works best for your schedule. Each video is around 20 minutes long, and the program lasts for 14 weeks.

We understand that many people are busy with work, which is why we recommend starting the program as soon as possible. By putting what you learn into practice while on the job, you can immediately begin to see the benefits of the program's insights and findings. The program aims to help you develop your leadership skills and approach your job from a unique perspective. That's why we say that The Next Level program is about 'transformation' rather than just 'information.' The Next Level program takes a holistic approach to your job, considering you as a person, a professional and a leader while connecting you with like-minded individuals worldwide.

Many people who start the program while busy at work end up thanking us later. We've put a lot of effort into making our program flexible and stress-free for VFX professionals, so you can focus on your job and your development.

We're driven by results! So, while it’s not possible to absolutely guarantee that this program will for sure make you land a Lead or Supervision position, we’re confident that after you out in the work regarding what you’ve been exposed within the program, not only will make you ready, it will put you in a standout position to do so.

Additionally, right from the first inception of the program, we were contacted by some companies asking for recommendations for some of the roles they were looking for - although this is by no means a guaranteed leadership role position by the end of the program.

Yes, the certificate will be emitted, signed by our content creator and founder Pedro Andrade and supported by Foundry. It will contain your name and a unique serial number that you will be able to share on your social media if you wish to do so.

In order for you to be eligible to be issued the certificate, you need to abide by the following rules:

- Attend to at least 7 weekly group calls

- Submit at least 50% of the Tech Challenges

We don't normally discuss or disclose the fees before any application. The reason for this is, due to the nature of the program, what's most important is that both parties feel that the program is the right fit. We want to make sure that the program is the right fit for you, by hearing about your professional journey and understanding together with you where and how the program can potentially benefit your current career stage and/or future aspirations.

The program was designed for experienced compositing artists that want to move into leadership roles. Although thorough, it's fairly fast-paced, with several knowledge assumptions and not so much a step-by-step type of teaching on the most basic foundations.

Therefore, ideally you have a seniority level that you either want to feel ready and with the necessary confidence to take leadership roles or, you have already some experience on this front, but don't feel as comfortable as you would like in everything that it entails.

On the other hand if your desire is to have all this knowledge but not aiming for a leadership roles, assuming that you have a seniority level that enables you to follow the program with no problem, that's perfectly fine too. At the end of the day, being a supervisor is also a choice of whether or not you want to pursue that role. So if becoming a supervisor is not your goal, the problem will still provide you with the valuable knowledge from a leadership perspective, enabling you to work efficiently and gain insight into what the supervisor may need from you. You will become a valuable asset to your supervisor and you will build strong relationships with other artists and companies. As mentioned above, pursuing the leadership position is also a matter of choice. But it's best to have a choice on your side rather than no choice because you might not have what it takes. Right?

In any case, this assessment will be part of our discussion during your strategy call.

You have access to the length of each individual class once when you check our full curriculum on our program's web page - complairvfx.com/thenextlevel. However, it's one thing just watching the lessons and it's a completely different one to get your hands dirty to try them and mix and match different insights. As Pedro normally says "the more you put into the program, the more you will get out of it".

Additionally to this, as you know, the content will be available bit by bit every week. This approach is on purpose, so you can digest one thing at a time and reconcile your personal and professional lives during the duration of the program. Here's how the chapters will unlock every week:

The effort that each chapter will require from you is also important to consider, so you can prepare your week in advance. It's also important to refer that the content's specifics will get progressively more intense. Therefore it's important to have all of this in mind, so you avoid falling behind. Here's a rough estimate of the effort that will be required from you on each chapter:

The weekly group video calls will be for around 1h.

The weekly group calls are not mandatory for the compliance of the program, although you have to attend a minimum of 7 calls to be eligible to be issued a certificate (other rules apply - check previous FAQ). You will be informed about when, where and how these group call will happen as soon as you enrol.

Everybody in the World will have be provided with a suitable time slot for their attendance.

In any case, we really advise you to attend these calls, as it's a great way to interact with everyone that is enrolled and ask questions more directly. You will be informed about when, where and how these group call will happen as soon as you enrol. If for whatever reason, you cannot attend the weekly group video calls we will send replays of these sessions to everyone enrolled.

Yes! To give you the attention you deserve, enrolments will be limited in number, capped to a maximum number of people enroled at the same time.

The answer to this question is ‘No’, just because of the simple fact that all the content shown in the lessons is purposely generic and you will not need them. The goal of this type of learning style is for you to learn the techniques and apply them in any situation you find suitable. We don't anybody to be biased (not even in the slightest) to think that the isights that you will be provided with only work with the material used.

We currently only offer our program in English.

Although the videos do not have captions, every single one of them have transcripts.

Yes, this program was specifically designed to be generic enough so anyone can follow the examples, even with a free Non Commercial version of Nuke.

No, each enrolment is unique to a single student. Our lessons use DRM encrypted video streaming technology that ensures that no downloader or plugin can grab the content with the highest security from video piracy. Rarely do VFX companies allocate training budgets for their staff. However, if you are one of the lucky ones, then great! If your company doesn’t explicitly offer it, it’s sometimes worth having a discussion with them to see if it’s a possibility.

From our experience, what normally happens is that you would have a discussion with your HR department or manager, telling them:

• What the program is about

• What you'll personally gain from it

• What the company/your team will benefit from you being part of it

• How you'll apply the learnings to your everyday work

• How long it will take you to complete it

If you get the 'green light' from them, it will be entirely dependent on the company whether they want to provide you with this training or not.

Please be aware of the following:

• The decision-making conversations regarding your company's support for your enrollment are strictly between you and your company. We do not participate in these discussions on your behalf.

• Some of the offers might be time-sensitive. On this note, from our experience, we know that it can take many months for a company to make a decision regarding funding their staff's training, regardless of the outcome of their decision. Therefore, to avoid disappointment, what normally tends to happen is that individuals pay for their enrolment upfront by themselves and let these discussions play out with their company after their enrolment.

• It's important to understand that only a minority of individuals that enrolled in The Next Level program have successfully secured company funding. However, whether they are self-funded or not, the unanimous consensus is that the program delivers a significant return on investment in terms of professional development, promotions, and new opportunities, as demonstrated by numerous testimonials and results.
